ANNIVERSARY ARTWORK

120 Years of History. One Extraordinary Canvas.

In 1906, the Brisbane Fruit and Produce Exchange opened at 80 Ann Street. 120 years later, Heritage Lanes stands in its place, and we are marking that milestone with a new Anniversary Artwork commission.

ART AID and Spacesuit&Co have been engaged by Mirvac to lead an open Expression of Interest for a digital artwork to be displayed on the Level 1 Lobby ceiling screen at Heritage Lanes.

Spanning 232 square metres and operating at 16K resolution, it is one of the largest and most technically advanced LED installations of its kind in the world, experienced daily by thousands of people in the heart of Brisbane's CBD.

The commission is open to Australian artists at all career stages and from a wide range of practices. You do not need to be a digital artist to apply. Spacesuit&Co will work alongside the selected artist to translate and deliver the final work for the screen.

Artists with a connection to Brisbane and South East Queensland are particularly encouraged to apply.
