Social Impact: Joining Hands October 2019

On RUOK Day 2019, the Heritage Lanes Project Team engaged with the Joining Hands team for our corporate massage service. Staff received the benefit of a seated massage to relieve stress and tension on a day that brings awareness to checking in with one’s self and our colleagues. By partnering with JoiningHands, a social enterprise based out of Brisbane, the team were able to pay forward 14 free massage sessions to local vulnerable young people at the Red Cross Night Café in Brisbane. One of the recipients, left a message for the Mirvac team to say thanks saying he was “extremely happy and he would really look forward to having the crew (Joining hands) again as it’s a true helping hand to anyone who suffers chronic pain”.
